If I was to say that Lotus is one of the greatest bands around I wouldn't be lying. Even though they are yet to sign to a record deal, their sound is what has been missing from radio for a long time. Their fluent melodies and hypnotic vocals leave you wanting more. Their sound has been compared to such musicians like Veruca Salt, Garbage, Tori Amos, & Fiona Apple. Tom Paulus, a representative for Warner/Atlantic/Electra Records had this to say about Lotus:" I freaked out when I heard the disc I got a while ago every song was a good one & the feel & musicianship were astounding. I played it for my girlfriend (who has worked in radio for almost 20 years) & she loved it. Then I played it for my friend Jim Cortez who works for Electra records & his jaw dropped."
